Story
In 2013 I was diagnosed with Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma when I was in my forties and busy raising 4 children between the ages of 9 and 14 with my husband. My diagnosis came totally out of the blue. I was given information booklets at the hospital from Lymphoma Action that were so helpful and answered many of my questions about lymphoma and the treatment I would need. Lymphoma Action also have really useful podcasts and videos on their website and run a Helpline and buddy system for anyone who needs reassurance and advice. My niece was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma a couple of years ago in her early twenties, but is now thankfully in remission. I am so grateful for all the support shown to me and I am looking forward to marking 10 years of life in all its fullness by doing the bridges of London walk on 14th May in aid of Lymphoma Action.
