Story
Shortly after I moved to North Yorkshire in 2018, my mother, Chele Simpson, went into a hospice in Dorset to see out her final days.
The hospice made a horrific time as bearable as it could be and provided the most excellent care for my mum. I cannot express what a difference a hospice makes to people with life-limiting or terminal illnesses and how much comfort and support they give to their families.
It takes 3m a year to run the services of my local hospice, St Teresa's and only a third of that is funded by the NHS. Please help me to raise money to support their fantastic work.
Just so you feel you are getting good value for money, it's only fair that I point out that the furthest I've run is 10k (and I had to stop a few times), so I am guaranteed to suffer. :-)
