Story
Thanks for taking your time to visit my page.....I've always wanted to do something more daring in life, I suppose you can say it's a BUCKET LIST wish to be completed........
Living on the "Rock" its a small net community, where everyone knows everybody. We are all family, so when somebody is effected, we all are in one way or another. 8 years ago my belated Mother in Law Irene Ellul lost her battle against this awful disease. I have close friends & colleagues whom are either under going treatment or in recovery. I hope to make a difference to someone else's life & keep the fight against cancer going! Please support me on these events. The Jump takes place between 23rd May in Jerez. I will be personally conquering my fears and jumping out of a plane. I'll also be taking part in the annual "Lunar 5Km Walk" all for love of charity.
All proceeds go to "Breast Cancer Support Group" and the Cancer Relief Centre" in Gibraltar. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and received.
UPDATE.....
Finally attempt number 2 was accomplished on Monday 22nd June @ Skydive Spain in Sevilla.
We all had smiles like Cheshire cats, as the adrenaline was pumping as we began to complete our jumps for these two worthy causes in Gibraltar. Words cannot describe the feelings you experience, especially at the initial point leaving the plane @ 15,000 feet. The free fall was just mind blowing & I couldn't stop saying WOW, It's awesome, I love you all & blowing loads of kisses at the video man!
Truly was an emotional day for everyone involved and so grateful to have such a great backing from family, friends & especially strangers that donated towards our charities. I would recommend anyone & everyone to give this a go at sometime in your life.
Michelle Manning was extremely nervous about the whole thing, but being a cancer survivor herself it was totally a "PIECE of CAKE" in the end. My belated mother in law Irene Ellul would have enjoyed every second on the jump! I'm still buzzing days after the event, as the money raised as a group is just shy of £20,000.00
THANK YOU, MUCHO GRACIAS, MERCI, TO EVERYONE FOR THE SUPPORT AND DONATIONS
