London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. That’s ten every day. Children with Cancer UK is the leading national children’s charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. We fund life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood cancer and we work to protect young lives through essential welfare programmes.
This is a cause very close to my heart. In January I had my daughter Iris who at just 3 weeks old became unwell. We spent time in our local hospital and they believed she had cancer. We were sent to GOSH and we were very lucky she didn’t. I saw lots of children on our visit who weren’t so lucky and I would like to do my bit to help them by running 26.2 miles in their honour.
Cancer also stole my Dad and I will also be running in his memory.
Please help me to help them ❤️❤️❤️❤️
