Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In June this year I will be taking part in the first SUP Relay paddle of the English Channel. The Paddle is being organised by Surfers Against Sewage.
Surfers Against Sewage works tirelessly to protect our coastal waters. The event has been put together by SAS with the support of BSUPA, and we aim to raise at least £10,000 in sponsorship money to support SAS’s campaigns to protect surfers and waveriders, waves and beaches around the UK. I am trying to raise £2000 myself. I have achieved so much in the past 2 years since I started paddling becoming 2008 and 2009 Distance and Surf Champion for The British Stand Up Paddle Association. I love being out on the water and feel that the work the SAS do is invaluable. They rely totally on the support we can give them. I am the only woman taking part in this paddle and feel privileged to be so. The training is a huge challenge for me as will be the paddle itself. I hope you will support me in this.
