Story

The Spayside Way is a 138 Km (86 MILE)long distance

walk starting at Buckie on the Moray coastline and

finishing at Newtonmore in the heart of the Scottish

Highlands .

As some of you will know, we did the
Great Glen Way last

year in a bid to say thank you to the IJF for all the

help and support they gave and continue to give , our son

Aidan after he suffered a stroke following a nasty fall at

Hexham earlier that year. With their help and support

Aidan has made a remarkable recovery and is hoping to

be back on the course in the near future.

In a bid to continue our support for all
the hard work and

the support the IJF give to jockeys, we plan to leave

Buckie on the 30th of July and aim to be in Newtonmore

on the 5th of August, a duration of 7 days.

Once again we will be challenging
ourselves by camping

along the way,(a mix of wild camping and a couple of

campsites) And like last year,we will be carrying all our

equipment,- tents, sleeping bags, clothes, food etc.,

just to make it more challenging!

We appreciate that in the present
climate things are tough

for a lot of people, but our thought is,its also tough for

 charities as well.

With that in mind
- Any donation £1, £2 or £5 would be

greatly appreciated for this worthy charity.

we are both looking forward to the
challenge of the walk

and making memoriesalong the way, and hopefully raising

 some funds for the IJF.
