Story

I’m running the Great North Run in September for Daisy Chain Teesside. I’ve always wanted to run the Great North Run but been too worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it. This year, in my 40th year 🙈, I’ve decided to challenge myself and give it a go along with a few more ladies from the running group we go to. 🏃‍♀️🤩🏅 I’m really looking forward to taking in the atmosphere and of course getting a medal at the end (providing I get round in one piece 🤣).

I’m running for Daisy Chain Teesside and any donation would be greatly appreciated. Here’s some information about what they do…

Autism is a processing difference that can have an impact on many areas of a person’s life.It is estimated that one in 100 children, teenagers and adults in the UK are autistic. Autism is the fastest growing developmental disability. Children with autism are 28 times more likely to think about or attempt suicide and 71% of autistic children have mental health problems. By supporting Daisy Chain you help us have a positive impact in the lives of people who deserve not to suffer in silence and who deserve to live enriched and fulfilled lives.
