Hello All,

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for your support with the sponsorship for the Exmoor 30:30 Challenge.  As you know we had a team of 5; Myself, Simon Owens, Shaun Webber, Colin Sparks all from Tamar Foods and Dave Mitchell from Kensey Foods. We were called the T40’s.

 We completed the challenge (carrying 30lbs, walking 30 miles on uneven and marshy terrain) and all found it to be extremely hard work both mentally and physically. We really pulled together, worked as a team and finished fourth as a team and came first in our class. We finished the challenge in a respectful 12 hours and 10 minutes! The weather also didn’t help as we experienced heavy rain with only a little sunshine!

 We raised a staggering amount for The Royal British Legion.

Thank you again for your support it made this gruelling challenge worthwhile!

(The Exmoor 30:30 Challenge is to carry 30 lbs over 30 miles of open moorland exclusively for the benefit of The Royal British Legion.

This will be hard work for THE T-40's as all 5 members taking part are over 40 and are not at the moment very fit. They have 2 weeks of tough training ahead of them to get ready for the event. Please help to keep them motivated by sponsoring the Team for this worthy cause.
