We lost friend and colleague James Carey too soon. The Cinapse team will miss him greatly, and wanted to organize a gift in his honor. We decided a gift to the British Film Institute would have been something that would have made James feel quite "chuffed", as those crazy Brits are wont to say. More specifically, these funds will be directed to the "Film Is Fragile" campaign, which works to preserve their large film archive and restore them digitally.
