Story
Hi everyone,
Just a little note to say thank you so much for your generous contributions. We all completed the race and it was amazing. Very emotional, but all so worth it. We have raised in excess of £3000 on JustGiving and we have a bunch of cash to add to this. This will hopefully help in making a difference to a few of those people out there who are battling breast cancer.
Before and after photos to follow.
Thank you so much,
Ciara, Caroline, Claire, Roisin.

On Sept 18th 2010 we (Ciara, Caroline, Claire and Roisin)intend to run the Dublin Half Marathon.
This initially started out as a test of our endurance, just a challenge to see if we could push ourselves to run (and more importantly finish and survive) a little more than a stage of the Belfast relay. Then it became a chance to do some good and raise some money for a great cause that was close to all our hearts - Pretty n Pink.
Now we have a third and much more personal reason to add to our motivation. As many of you may know our dear friend Eimear Treanor lost her battle with breast cancer on Aug 10th 2010. It seems there is no way that could be fitting enough to celebrate and commemorate such a wonderful and special friend. It just seems fitting to try and do something in her memory. This run, in aid of a breast cancer charity, is just our little way of trying to do some good to help raise money and awareness to help others who are battling this disease.
