I'm running this 5K with my family and friends to support the daily battle against cancer. 

As some of you may be aware, my step dad Jim lost his 14 month battle against this horrible disease in March at only 54 (he's the one photobombing in the pic above for those of you who didn't know him).

I hope that the money raised can help those living with the disease and eventually eliminate the need for families, similar to mine, to go through the pain of losing someone to cancer.
