Well....this year the annual Starlers' challenge is to do the Three Peaks in 24 hours!

On the 6th July I will be climbing Ben Nevis, then Scafell Pike in the Lake District and finally Snowdon in Wales - all should be done and dusted by the early hours of Saturday 7th July!

So I've now got 6 months of trying to get fit - apparently this challenge is as gruelling as climbing Kilimanjaro or Month Blanc (although without the altitude issues as they are far higher peaks of course)!

I would be grateful of your support, as you can see I have a challenging target to achieve!  I will be raising on behalf of the Family Holiday Association, who help under-privileged families suffering from the damaging effects of serious problems like domestic abuse, illness or poverty giving them a well deserved break together.  Please take some time to see how a short break to the seaside can help a young family to regain its footing in life.
