Those who know me will recall I started fund raising for Sir Bobby Robson’s charity due to my admiration for the great man.

But over the years, as more of those I love, my family and friends, have their own struggles and fights against the terrible disease that is cancer, my bond with this charity only grows.

From funding cutting edge research to state of the art treatment and care, every single one of the volunteers and professionals at, and who benefit from, this charity are my heroes
