We are creating a memorial fund, ring-fenced within The Brighton Rainbow Fund, in James’ memory.

A recent survey has shown that one third of young homeless people in Brighton and Hove identify as LGBTQ+. These are often amongst the most vulnerable in the homeless community.

Homeless charities often have the opportunity, but not the funds, to provide safe emergency accommodation, and subsequently longer term safe accommodation may require a deposit loan, or guarantee.

The Ledward Fund will be ringfenced within The Brighton Rainbow Fund, and available for local homeless charities to draw on when they need to in such specific cases.
