Bupa Great Birmingham Run 2012 · 21 October 2012
As you may or may not know my 5 year old daughter Francesca suffers from a liver disease called Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency and I am going to (attempt to) run the Bupa Great Birmingham Run 2012 on October 21st to raise money for the Childrens Liver Disease Foundation.
Since being diagnosed with Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency in 2007 Francesca has gone from strength to strength and is still in good health.
CLDF provided our family with a great deal of support and information when Francesca was diagnosed, aged 8 weeks old, and since then the charity has always been very close to our hearts. I'd like to help to make sure that they can continue to provide support to other families that have children with liver disease.
