Story

Having got myself to the point where I won't keel over from walking round the block, decided it would be good to set myself the challenge of running the Manchester 10K.

Mid way through my intensive 6 week training plan, am starting to wonder if this was a good idea, so thought raising money for the Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit could be an extra spur.

GMIAU do absolutely brilliant work supporting a whole range of people including children who have been separated from their parents by conflict and human rights abuses, people who have been forced to flee their countries of origin and others who have been trafficked. For further information on their activities, visit www.gmiau.org.

It's often not easy for organisations like GMIAU to get funded and I know anything you donate will be much appreciated and well used.
