Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Each December for the past 15 years we have held a Christmas Music Afternoon at Haynes. Sadly, due to the pandemic and government restrictions, we are not able to hold this in the usual way this year.

However, over the past few weeks, many of our musicians have been practising, then recording themselves playing and singing together in families and other groups. Some of us met at a local church to record a socially distanced choir. This was carried out following  government guidance and took place before the start of the lockdown in November.

Each year we have held a collection for the Savannah Education Trust. This time, we have created a JustGiving link for anyone who would like to make a donation to this very worthy charity. Savannah has had to cope with additional costs as well as a significant drop in revenue this year.

I hope many of you will be able to watch and that you will find it enjoyable, especially as it seems likely that there will be little opportunity to attend Christmas carol services or concerts this year.

In the gallery above, you will find a few photographs of last year's event at Haynes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
