Stefanie C. Zolkiewski nee Wojturski, passed away August 18, 2020 at the age of 75. Stefanie was born November 4, 1944 in Poland to the late Wanda and Tadeusz Wojturski. Stefanie was known by many names: Christine, Mama Z, Krysia, and most important to her - Babcia. As her children were growing up it seemed her sole purpose was to feed every person they brought home. She always loved to share her opinions with anyone that would listen, and her answer to any problem was prayer. We are certain that she had a direct line to God. Her faith was even stronger than the immense love she had for her family. Once her grand kids were born she favored them over her own children and loved to share her thoughts on just how they should be raised. She was often right. The emptiness that is now in our hearts will soon be filled with all the wonderful memories she left us with. For those of you that did not know her, you truly missed out. She was the best. Stefanie is survived by her beloved husband Kazimierz, loving children Peter (Andrea) Zolkiewski, Margaret (Christopher) Donnell and Marie (Nick) DiCosola, cherished grandchildren Sabrina, Noah, Simon, Zane, Nicky, Izzy, Joey and Sophia, dear brothers Anthony (Jadwiga) Wojturski, the late Bolesław (Jeanne) Wojturski and the late Wilek (Alicja) Tursky. Stefanie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, wonderful friends, and all her children's friends that she loved like family. In lieu of flowers she would appreciate your donation to Catholic Charities in her memory.
