Story

14th June 2015 - first great north challenge complete. We both had a fabulous swim and really enjoyed it. Thanks for your support and keep it coming for our next challenge in September x

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Finding a new challenge each year to raise funds for St.Catherines  in memory of Christine Lynas is becoming a real challenge in itself! What could we do after last years marathon. This year we are mixing it up and having a bit of swimming and running into the mix with our Great North events.

The first challenge is the Great North Swim in Windermere on 14th June followed by the Great North Run in Newcastle on 13th September. Two challenges means double the training programme so every spare bit of time is spent in the pool or pounding the streets.

When mum became ill in 2012 she was cared for by a fantastic team at St. Catherine's Hospice, Preston. They gave her the care and support she needed at a time when she was experiencing intense pain and suffering. Spending some time each year to raise funds is a way of giving something back.

Please sponsor us to complete this years challenge and give a little (or a lot!) to a wonderful place.
