Christine was cared for at home by the wonderful nurses and support staff from The Shakespeare Hospice, Stratford Upon Avon.  Her wish to remain at home would not have been possible without their dedicated, respectful and compassionate care that was accessible day and night with their Hospice at Home service.  No request was too much trouble and at no time did we feel that they were in a rush or that they couldn't give us the time we needed.  This, together with the district nurse service and the personal care provided by Home First, made things easier to cope with in the final days and we are indebted to all the kind people who came into our home.

Please help The Shakespeare Hospice  support others in their moments of greatest need and allow other families to benefit at a time of such great sadness when sometimes a gentle word or a hand hold can help ease the pain.
