Story
thank you so much to those shy wonderful anonymous friends who have donated such a lot of money for Kumi in Uganda..via my walk. Bless you all. Thank you so much xxx
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to Kumi, a small rural town in eastern Uganda with Mission Direct, to help build a classroom, replace a floor in an existing building and help build or renovate a thatched house for a vulnerable person or family in a small rural village. We will be assisting in other on going projects that MD have started as teams go out on a regular basis and continue , if not finished, work previously started. We will be helping organise crafts and games for a school for the deaf, and possibly helping lead worship in Kumi prison and whatever else needs doing while we are there. Local builders lead and direct our work, and the equipment is bought within the local area to support the local economy.
I have paid for my trip, travel, accommodation, food, insurance, visa, vaccinations etc. 100% of the money raised from my fund raising efforts will go towards this project of building and tools needed to complete the work. So please be reassured that your kind donations will be going to a town and project that will really make a difference. The average class size here is 140 children, so this really is a needy project.
We have completed the walk. Weather was hotter than expected and some of the "going up hill" was challenging..but we did it. Thankyou Crystal and Shirley for walking with me and for money raised. Thank you everyone.
Many thanks in anticipation.
Love and sincere thanks
Chris
