The situation in Syria is going from bad to worse with 100 000 dead and more than 4.5 million people displaced inside the country. 

As you know, the ongoing conflict has had a huge impact on the people I love. That's why I've decided to dedicate my run to the suffering people of Syria whom the world has largely forgotten. 

Most international aid agencies are no longer operating inside Syria as it is too dangerous. Hand in Hand for Syria is one of the few charities that can access inside Syria to the places where aid is needed most.
