Nuffield Health Stoke on Trent 10K · 14 September 2014

Founded in 1969, as a playgroup for children with disabilities, and unique across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire, no other charity does what we do in our region. We are Early Years specialists, giving children aged 0-5 with special needs the best start in life.

Story

Eddie is a baby boy who has enriched the life of a dear friend and her family. Eddie is the most beautiful and happy little chappy and was born with Downs Syndrome.

Eddie attends the Peter Pan Nursery for Children with Special Needs in Newcastle, Staffordshire. Peter Pan provides a high quality support for both children with special needs and their parents from birth to age 5. This is at a time when parents often feel at their most vulnerable. There is no state provision for such support and funds raised are vital to the continuation of such a necessary provision.

I will be running (!!!) the Stoke 10K on 14th September for the benefit of a wonderful little boy and his family and others in the area, please offer any support you are able.

With Much appreciation and gratitude. Christine :-) xx
