So individually we will tell you a little as to why we want to do this for Cancer Research UK.

Christine - Well it has been a long time coming, I was supposed to do this jump 12 years ago!!!!! We all know someone affected by cancer, our family or friends. To list everyone I could do this in memory of would take too long. Young and old alike it's a battle nobody should have to fight. If I can throw myself out a plane at 10,000ft and plummet back down to the ground then I should do it for a good cause!!!! I know that there is always someone looking for money for something, but come on guys let's do this, lets help in the fight to beat cancer!!!!!!!

Aaron - Although I've so far been lucky enough to never have been afflicted with cancer the rest of my family hasn't been so lucky. In fact almost every male within one side of my family has suffered from it, often at a fairly young age and with a sad outcome. On top of this far too many friends and co-workers have also been deeply affected by cancer and although treatments are getting better organizations like Cancer Research UK still desperately need our help to develop better treatments and find a cure. Join us and let's make the only realistic difference that we can.

Gary   Cancer has taken away too many of our loved ones, so in the battle against this horrid disease, I am going to throw myself out of a perfectly good aircraft.  Like many of you, my personal and work life has been affected by Cancer.  Family: most notably my wife’s father who passed away from Cancer just a month before our Wedding.   Friends: someone I held dear was diagnosed too late and died within a few short weeks.  Colleagues: several of whom are fighting Cancer right now and I wish them all speedy health.  Please join me in helping Cancer Research UK discover a cure so that more of the people we love and care for can survive and live a happier, fuller life.  Thank you all for your time and support.

And that's our stories. The sad thing is, if you're looking at this page then the chances are good that you also have a story just like one of ours, and that's exactly why we are doing this. The phrase "together we can make a difference" is said often but rarely with more truth behind it. Whether it's a donation to the charity, or simply support in sharing this page.....please please please help us raise as much as we can and one day our sad stories might just stop getting new chapters.
