Story
For those of you who do not know, four years ago, my sister was involved in a near fatal road traffic accident. She was air lifted to hospital and after a 12 hour surgery doctors were fortunately able to save her life. Unfortunately, her arm never recovered, which resulted in an amputation from the shoulder down.
I will be running the Great North Run (12th September) and Manchester Marathon (10th October) to raise money for Limb Power.
Limb Power supports amputees and their families to bridge the gap between hospital rehabilitation, community and school engagement to rebuild lives and improve physical, social and mental well-being.
Barclays have kindly agreed to match the money I raise. Your support and any donations will be hugely appreciated.
