Story
In 2018, I had the absolute honour of carrying beautiful stars 🌟 remembering angel babies around the 26.2 Miles of London marathon.
That year I was running to raise awareness and funds for an amazing local charity called TimeNorfolk. They support families going through the absolute heartache or pregnancy loss, infant death and pregnancy difficulties.
Being a mum who has personally experienced the devastating impact of pregnancy loss and a Midwife and friend witnessing the heartbreaking effects of fertility battles, pregnancy difficulties, pregnancy losses and the death of a baby, TimeNorfolk is extremely close to my heart. This amazing charity provides such essential services to support families through these difficult and challenging times.
In 2020, I was lucky enough to get a ballot place again for london marathon and so I decided to use the opportunity to again promote this wonderful charity. Though generous donations and an amazing quiz night, I did manage to raise some much needed funds for this wonderful charity which was amazing but unfortunately, during to the pandemic, the marathon was postponed....I ran it virtually which was not much fun!!! But at least got the job done!
3 years later, I am finally getting to run London with that postponed place. Training is going well so far but it just doesn't seem right to let the opportunity of raising awareness pass.
So, again, I am just kindly asking for your time.... to look at the charity ...see what they do and shout about them to make people aware of who they are and what they offer. Then, if you can, please donate any amount (none too little) to help them continue with their amazing work .
