Our wonderful Husband and Father, Chris, was diagnosed with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer in July and passed away peacefully at St Margaret's Hospice in Yeovil on October 3rd.

The care that Chris recieved at St Margaret's was exemplary; he was very comfortable, ordered his meals directly from the Chef and had a room that looked out onto a beautiful Garden.

Following Chris' Funeral and Memorial Service, which was generously attended by over 700 people with only a few days notice, we have had many people asking us to create a JustGiving page in order to make donations in Chris' memory.

St Margaret's was an obvious choice but we are also keen to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK who help fund research projects and campaigns specifically for Pancreatic Cancer treatment. One of the Chemotherapy drugs that was available to Chris, Abraxane, will not be available on the NHS in England from November 4th and Pancreatic Cancer UK are working hard to convince the powers that be to rectify this. Abraxane is available in Wales, Scotland and NI.

As one cannot create a JustGiving Page for two charities, we have set up a 'Team Page' where the two charities can be shown, and fundraised for, together.
