Story

Just over 3 years ago, I received the news that changed my life forever, I was diagnosed with  a form of Cancer - Hodgkins Lymphoma .

The following 9 months consisted of checks, biopsies, CT Scans, unltrasounds and a total of 12 sessions of chemotherapy.  The cancer never actually made me feel poorly, but the chemotherapy, that is a completely different story.

Thankfully, with the support of my Fiancee and her family, I was able to come through this time with something to look forward to, the birth of my beautiful daughter, Lily-Rose.

Since that time, I promised myself that I would do everything I could to help others who were in a similar position to me.  A keen runner previously, entering events that I would have normally taken for granted became a way of proving I had beaten the disease.

Since then, I have entered a number of half marathons, but then the chance came to enter the ultimate race.

The London Marathon is the ultimate goal, the chance to help as many people as possible.

Your money will help provide care to those people who need it most.

I will try to update this page as often as possible, giving details of how the training is going.

Thank you for taking the time to read this page and for all of your help and support.
