I have always loved swimming especially outdoors and swimming from the Isle of Wight to the Mainland on the 27th July is my big challenge in 2015. I am raising money for the Motor Neurone charity in memory of 2 people; the mighty Don Revie legendary manager of Leeds United and a hero for me & big part of my childhood. Also a v brave colleague of mine Councillor Valerie Binney. Valerie was very active throughout her illness, supported research in MND and was a total inspiration. She was also a competitive swimmer.Thank you to my family and friends who have encouraged and challenged me especially before my training swims. If any of you want to suggest a song for my training/my swimming set list then that would be terrific and keep me sane 😄

Update.With cash sponsorship has now cleared over over 930 pounds and I am really happy about this - thank you
