Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few years ago my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. St. Francis Hospice provided help not only to Dad but also to me. Understanding what Dad was going through, and was likely to go through, really helped me cope with the difficult times. The Hospice made everyone feel welcome and when the inevitable time came for Dad's last days, they cared for him and his family in any way they possibly could. As hard as it was to let Dad go, he really couldn't have left us from better surroundings.

On January the 23rd, I will attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro; in memory of my Dad and to raise money for St. Francis Hospice. Please help so that other families can benefit from their care just as we did.
