Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The reason i've decided to run the Great Manchester 10k, is because in February my beautiful 26 year old fiancee suffered a life threatening stroke. A blood clot had formed at the back of her brain and was restricting the blood flow to her brain. A specialist had to perform a procedure to remove the clot and gave us a 30% chance that he could safely get the clot out, if not... well it doesnt even bear thinking about.

Thankfully, the specialist removed the clot and ever since Kayleigh has been in hospital recovering. She is getting stronger all the time, but we are still along way from where ahe was before.

Kayleigh has had to battle so hard to get to this point, the least I can do is run 10k. The date of this run is 20th May which is the day after what our wedding day would have been, we have had to move this to september to give kayleigh more chance to recover.

Anything you can donate, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Chris
