Thanks for taking the
time to visit my JustGiving page.
Dodgy knees, unfit, can’t
swim. You’d think this would all inspire me to doing a sporting event for
charity? Maybe not this time, however I enjoy playing computer, and tabletop
games so figured I’d give Save Point a try for the first time – a 24 hour nonstop
gaming challenge which raises funds for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
The Foundation
supports the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. The
Hospital receives over 100,000 children through its doors each year from all
over the country. The Foundation helps to provide:
Extra
comforts, which make time in hospital better for children.
Facilities
Extra
medical equipment
Support
for sick children who are cared for in the Community
Funding
for extra training and research
It’s a charity very close to my family’s heart - me, my bother and sister have all been in RHSCE at some point, so if you can spare a few quid to sponsor me it will make my sleep-deprivation all the more worthwhile!
