Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.We are two ex Matelots and a serving prison officer who have decided to get off our rusty dustys and try and make a difference to the lives of those that have served their country by driving an old banger (value under £500) disguised as a submarine from Dover to Gibraltar with the aim of raising as much money as we can. We are called "Team Yarmageddon" one of upto 100 teams competeing in the Veterans Banger Rally Europe 2022. We are raising money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. Last year their team of volunteers and employees helped more than 79,500 people in need, from Second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families. Thanks go to all our event sponsors especially Classic Rock Tours, Barry James, Radio Caroline, The Bluestone Inn Immingham, Westy's Wheels, Immingham hardware and Locksmiths and The Spray Bay Immingham for helping us get an entry ready for this event.
