I am taking part in the 15k Nightingale Night Walk as the Centre has helped my best friend Denise immensely. She has been diagnosed with Asbestosis. She was quite depressed after her treatment and, although we can talk about anything, I thought she needed to talk to people who were going through the same/similar thing. I searched the Internet and found the Nightingale Centre...After Denise joined, she felt so much better in herself, it was just what she needed. Also two of my friends, Chris and Ros had cancer and they regularly attend the Centre....this charity is worth its weight in gold and this is why I decided to do the walk and raise as much as I can for them...without it, I don't know how Denise would be now....so I would ask if you would kindly sponsor me so that the Nightingale can carry on helping people in the future.
