Fundraising for Oxfordshire Mind
Chris Rawlings is hoping to take part in Trek Sudetes in aid of Oxfordshire Mind in June 2013. In order to participate in this trek Chris needs to raise £1,500 through sponsorship and fundraising.
The funds you kindly donate will help start Chris off on her fundraising mission!
Here’s a note from Chris... “As many of you will know, I took part in a charity trek for Oxfordshire Mind in 2011 and I enjoyed the experience so much that I’ve decided to take part in another challenge by trekking in the Sudetes Mountains to raise money for this worthy cause. Oxfordshire Mind is an amazing organisation to be part of and I want to help ensure individuals receive the help they need to aid their wellbeing and recovery. I know the fundraising can be hard work (as will be the training for the trek), but the sense of achievement, the team spirit, the friends I have already made and the support I have had from Oxfordshire Mind make it all worth it. I want to take part in the trek as I know the valuable work the charity does to support those living in our community who struggle with every day life. Please give generously if you can!”
Oxfordshire Mind supports people with mental and emotional health problems such as anxiety, bereavement, depression, loneliness, post-natal depression, recovery from breakdowns, stress and schizophrenia.
