Story
In 2012 a friend and I made the 10 day hike from Pokhora to Annapurna base camp in Nepal. Along the route we met many families in local villages who lead remote lives high up in the mountains. Many of which live without the availability of doctors, medicines, basic education and clean drinking water.
On March 24th 2013, I'm starting from Lukla, Nepal at 2,800 meters and hiking to Everest Base Camp at 5,400 meters. The hike will take around 13 days to complete covering varying terrain from marked paths to glaciers. The psychically challenging environment, weather and altitude will make for an interesting experience.
