I’ve decided it’s about time I run a marathon and raise money for a good cause - so if you’re thinking of giving up a beer for January why not donate it. 

A couple of years ago my dad heroically battled a degenerative brain illness which only after was diagnosed as a form of Dementia. Research shows that most people living with Dementia haven’t been diagnosed and resources for those diagnosed are thin so charities like Dementia UK and Alzheimer’s Society are in much need of funding.
