A few months ago my friend James and I agreed to run the Paris Marathon. It seemed like a good idea at the time. (A combination of the fact that I was drunk when we discussed it, I wanted a challenge, I wasn't busy on the 15th April and was going to be in Paris anyway.)

It will be the first time I have ever run a marathon (although I did finish joint fourth in the Year 5 cross country competition when I was at primary school). Furthermore, I will be running in my second language.

I am running for the British Heart Foundation as the work they do (preventing people dying from heart disease) is something that has affected me personally over the last year and I want to support them. I'd be really grateful if you could spare just a tiny amount to sponsor me.
