Story

Hi, I'm Chris!

This year I will be running the London Marathon for the first time to raise much needed funds for Leukaemia Care! This is a charity that is very close to me and my family's heart, because in 2015 my Brother in law Barry was diagnosed with Leukaemia.

I met Barry 26 years ago when we both studied photography at Southend College, and this was when I met his sister, not knowing then that she would become my amazing wife! So I have a lot to thank him for.

Eight years on from Barry’s diagnosis and he still suffers with the side effects of the disease, but he continues to be the strong and determined person that he is, and we are all so proud of him.

Leukaemia Care is dedicated to ensuring that everyone affected by blood cancer receives the best possible diagnosis, information, advice, treatment and support.

It would be amazing if you could sponsor me whether small or big to support Leukaemia Care!

Thank you so much,

Chris.
