At the beginning of lockdown, our church set up a Community Response Hub in partnership with the local council and other agencies. Volunteers have distributed food parcels, done shopping, collected prescriptions and kept in touch with vulnerable and self isolating people in the local area. The funding for this will gradually reduce, but the needs will not, so we want to enable our church to continue to support the many people locally who have been disadvantaged in different ways by this pandemic.
