I am running the Edinburgh Half Marathon on 31st May in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. So far I have been training at least 5 days a week, eating healthy and drinking a lot less. (This is a massive improvement to my past lazy lifestyle!) In all seriousness, family and friends have been lost to this awful disease over the years, so I thought it was about time that I did something to help people who are currently living with cancer.
Here is where you guys come in! Any money donated Macmillan uses for campaigns in order to create a better lifestyle for people affected by cancer. They aim to help everyone with cancer to receive the right level of treatment and support, regardless of who they are and where they live.
I am literally going to run 21,097.494 meters (sounds soo much better put like that!) on the 31st May which is 21,096 meters more than I have ever been prepared to run in the past! I am trying to raise £300, so any donations would be greatly appreciated. If you want to just donate the full £300 that would also be great.
Cheers,
Chris
