Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We completed a Tough Mudder (15km) in Sept 2023, and now we have taken things to the next level and really set some serious challenges!! …..
Myself and members of BBV have put together a team to take on the Infinity Tough Mudder event on 6 July 2024, which will include covering 35-40kms over arduous terrain and completing numerous obstacles, including the dreaded electrical wires.
In addition, previous colleagues and I, military and civilian, ranging from 25 to 62 years old, will be cycling 600 miles+ over 3 challenges in May and June
All these events are being completed within 8 weeks, with a weekend off in between, hopefully it was a good idea to bunch them up.
Challenges:
Ride London = Cycle 100 miles in 7 hours (26 May)
(Weekend off)
London to Paris = Cycle 311 miles in 4 days (5-9 June)
(Weekend off)
Chase the Sun = Cycle 209 miles in 16 hours (22 June)
(Weekend off)
Infinity Tough Mudder = (6 July)
Both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the Royal British Legion play a pivotal role in providing support to our armed forces, addressing a spectrum of needs from vital mental health support to financial assistance; supporting over 1 million members including veterans, serving personnel, and their families. The cause remains as important as ever, all contributions are vital.
We are also part of a wider effort, led by Sue and Chris Beadel, in honour of their son Simon Beadel, who unfortunately passed away whilst back from a tour of duty in Kosovo. They both continue to celebrate his life and tirelessly raise money in his name and every other family.
If you would like to help us reach our target then any donations would be gratefully received.
Many thanks
