Story
Chloe is a lovely 14 year old, who was born with some very challenging problems - she cant walk, talk or even sit unaided and suffers from untreatable epilepsy. Over the years she has benefitted from some very significant surgery - first her hips were reset to give her a more comfortable seating position, then her spine was fused to provide the support she needs to sit up straight. Now we are looking to raise money to get her better mobility options. First we want to cover the cost of the down payment for her wheelchair accessible vehicle. This enables her to be transported. Second we need to get her an all terrain buggy, so that she can escape the smooth pavements and make her way onto paths so that we can explore country parks & woods.
7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.
If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, then the funds will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objects. If in those circumstances we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objectives, then any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
