Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be taking part in the London Marathon 2012 in April, before I found out I'd got the place the furthest I'd ever run was 5k!!! A very small 3 miles of the 26.2 the marathon involves!!

I am running for the charity DEBRA - http://www.debra.org.uk/ please take a minute to visit their website and read about the great work they do helping people with Epidermolysis Bullosa:

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a very rare genetic condition in which the skin and internal body linings blister at the slightest knock or rub, causing painful, open wounds.

EB is likely to affect 1 in 17,000 live births and it is estimated that there are currently 5,000 people with the condition in the UK.

Anyone who has ever trained in running will most probably understand the discomfort a blister can cause - and realise the level of suffering EB causes.

I have not set a target as I want to raise as much as possible for this worthy cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now and I promise to get round the London Marathon!

Thank you very much xxx
