Mum/Nana/Jenny was rushed into hospital in April 2022, when she was diagnosed with lung cancer which had spread to the brain.  She underwent brain surgery that week.  Despite the prognosis not being good, she fought for almost 11 months before sadly passing away on 8th March 2023.  Her biggest goal was to reach hers and Tony's/Dad's golden wedding anniversary in August 2022, which she did and we all had an amazing day celebrating 🍾, creating memories that will last a lifetime.  ❤❤❤

In the last 3 weeks of her life, she was provided exceptional support both physically and mentally from Hospiscare and we couldn't be more grateful.  

Her husband (Tony/Dad/Pea) along with their best friend, Margaret/Marnie, decided to do a 20 mile walk in her memory with a view to raising funds for this fabulous charity, with their two eldest grandchildren Alex and Sophie and their Mum, Becky, joining halfway through and walking 10 miles.  There is a separate collection for this.  

Their littlest Grandchild, Ava,  is only 3, so she will do a 3 mile bike ride in memory of her lovely Nana, along with Mummy (Chloe) and Daddy (Andy) who will then walk a further 7 miles in her memory, making it 10.  This will take place on 3rd June 2023.
