I will be running the Great Manchester Run half marathon on Sunday 21st May 2023 in memory of my beautiful grandma Sharon Steeple and my beautiful grandad Brian Haddock.

I have always had such loving, close relationships with all of my grandparents. My grandma ‘gma’, who I saw as my best friend, sadly passed away over 5 years ago on New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day. Gma was a beautiful pure lady who was loved by all. My ‘Grand’, who I also shared a beautiful relationship with, was an incredible, funny man who I was always so proud of. Christie’s did an amazing job looking after both my gma and grand throughout their illnesses, and towards the end of life for my grandma. 

I would like to thank The Christie for all that they did for both my grandma and my grandad, by raising a little to help them continue the amazing work that they do.
