Story

I'm 17 years old running my first half marathon I’m support of Nerve Tumours UK because my sister has NF1. She has received great support and I am raising money to help the charity continue this for my sister and others whilst progressing the development in understanding the condition. The charity provide crucial support to people living with the Neurofibromatoses- the conditons that cause nerve tumours. They are dominant genetic conditions, which means that they can be passed on in families from one generation to the next through genetic inheritance. Similarly, about half of nerve tumours cases recorded have no previous family history of the condition. In other words, it can occur totally “out of the blue”. Please help me in my fundraising to assist scientific understanding into NF1 and  further the awareness of the condition.
