Story

Helloooo. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On Sunday 19th September 2010 I will be running 13.1 miles in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Care in the Bupa 30th Great North Run. Breast Cancer Care bring people together, provide information and support, and campaign for improved standards of care. Please sponsor me as much money as possible to help me raise my target of £200.00!! I am very grateful to those people who have sponsored me so far. Thank you for your support, Chloe xx

£5 - Breast awareness. £5 pays for someone to learn about breast awareness at a community based workshop delivered by our expert team. sorting myths from reality the session covers signs, symptoms and risks and encourages everyone to become breast aware in a way that suits them.

£23 - Helpline. £23 pays for a call to our helpline for up to date information on any aspect of diagnosis and treatment as well as confidential and sensitive support on the personal impact of the disease. Taking as much time as a caller needs, conversations can last over an hour.

£132 - 1:1 Volunteer Support. £132 pays to connect someone going through breast cancer care with a trained volunteer who had a similiar experience to them. We know how much reassurance and encouragement people can get from talking to someone who has been there, so we take care to find the best match we can for each individual.
