We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hi everyone.

Jess, Anna and I are taking part in the Shine Night Walk (26.2 miles) in September to raise money for Cancer Research UK. My mum was recently diagnosed with Primary Peritoneal cancer (similar to ovarian cancer) and is doing an amazing job fighting the disease - I want to help support her by raising money for this fantastic charity in their quest to find a cure.

If you can donate and help us out with our fundraising target, please do so.

Thank you :-)

Cheryl

Help to beat ovarian cancer.

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This September, I’m raising money at Shine Night Walk to help Cancer Research UK beat ovarian cancer sooner.

Ovarian cancer is the fifth most common cancer in UK women, with around 19 women being told they have the disease every day. The good news is that in the last 30 years, survival rates for ovarian cancer have almost doubled. But around 12 women still lose their life to the disease every day, so Cancer Research UK must continue its groundbreaking work.

Please dig deep and sponsor me. Every pound you donate will help fund their life-saving work.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Sleep can wait. Beating cancer can’t.
