I am beyond grateful to Alma a Marie Curie nurse who graciously gave up her time off at short notice to come and support Mum, a total stranger to her, but knowing she was in need of her help and that she could with her knowledge and skills bring her the comfort she needed at the end of her life.  I am in total awe of the Marie Curie nurses and the service they provide having also witnessed this 13 years ago when I lost my sister Angela to cancer. The comfort and reassurance they bring to patient and family is beyond measure, but they can only do this with donations. I can't bear to think that there could be a family that is in dire need of a nurse as Mum was and it was denied them because of lack of donations, this service should be a given for anyone in this heart breaking situation. Please consider a donation, any amount could make a huge difference to someone in need.
